Casseroles and soups…recipes?

Does anyone know of any simple, cheap recipes for casseroles or soups for fairly picky eaters? All I know of is tator tot casserole… I looked up a few but they seem complicated and I can’t afford to ruin any food right now…just getting an apartment…so many bills to come. If you have Any other cheap but yummy and healthy recipes plz feel free to let me know. Thanks!

You can make this from a pre-cooked chicken available at any grocery store deli and have it ready in about 20 minutes. Even if your picky eaters think they don’t like asparagus, if you chop it fine enough, they’ll never know it’s there. And you can leave out the wine and not notice the difference. It freezes well, too.

Chicken Asparagus Chowder

1 chicken, cooked, skinned, boned, chopped
4 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp flour
5 Tbsp minced onion
1 Cup sour cream
5 Cups chicken broth
2 Tbsp white wine
1 10.5 oz can cut asparagus spears

Melt butter, add onion, saute 3 minutes. Add flour, stir, 2 minutes.
Slowly add broth, cook 3 minutes. Put sour cream in bowl, add 1 cup
of hot broth, stir, add back to mixture. Stir until smooth. Add wine.
Drain, chop asparagus. Add chicken and asparagus to pot, stir
until heated through.
