What are some simple recipes with rice?

I want to make a very simple, very easy recipe using some brown rice. Is there anything very simple that I can throw on there to give it a good kick of flavor? I don’t have money to go buy anything and I don’t have much around the house. Is there something common that can be used to make it taste somewhat good, but also keep it from getting too fatty?

brown rice
cook 1 c brown rice in 1.5 C water and 1/2 C pineapple juice . When rice is finished cooking, stir in:
1 can drained pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple
1/2 C ground nuts (or seeds)

Broccoli rice casserole
preheat oven to 350F. In a bowl mix in this order:
1 beaten egg
1/2 C milk
1/2 C grated cheese
2 C leftover rice
1 C finely chopped broccoli
1 chopped onion (more or less to taste, sautee’d a bit if you like)
mix all together & pour into a buttered caserole dish & bake about 45 minutes
