Many newlywed brides may not know how to cook very well. You can write your own recipes, with some illustrations from the internet and ‘eureka’, you are ready with a new recipe book. It is not necessary that you should be a renowned cook to write this book. Just write simple recipes and tips that you probably learnt from your mother or that you invented or that you taught yourself when you started to cook. It can be fun to make such a book.

Wedding Album

The professional photographers take a long time to make the album. You can click some nice pictures of the couple and present to them before the photographer makes the album. In this album, you can include some pictures of special and moments that a photographer probably never will have access to. If at all you have a digital camera, you can even mail these pictures to the couple. They will surely enjoy looking at these pictures.

Handmade Quilt

If you are good at sewing, then you can make a quilt. Alternatively, if you cannot make it, you can always have it custom made from a nice quilt-making place.

If you are good at painting, then this one is for you. The couple would need to put their names outside their house. Try to gather as many photographs and videos of the couple as possible, right from their childhood to their present. For this, help of the couples’ family members might be required. Put it together in a sequence, and put it on a slide. You will require a projector for this. Let it be a surprise for them. When the party is in full swing, show the pictures to the couple. This collection can include some rare photographs that will revive old and cherished memories.

Wall Hanging

Every newlywed couple loves to put up a wall hanging with the words “home sweet home” written on it. This wall hanging can be embossed with some murals on it and will become their prized possession. An art and craft book will give a better idea of how to make it.
